Diane says...

When I first saw Sandy's "Insight Portraits" I realized that this was a terrific way for organizations to recognize the contribution of clients, customers and employees.

Diamond Mind

This title captures only a slice of what this portrait portrays but it is the concept that precipitated the painting. Diane gathers information at multiple levels. When you look at the cut lines on a diamond or on fine cut crystal you can see all of the facets and small distinct areas that sparkle and shine. Diane has depth of knowledge and wisdom in many areas like the many facets on the diamond. She is open and curious and constantly takes in even more through her senses, through all sorts of ways of gathering what’s important. Then Diane makes connections in fresh and maybe even revolutionary ways and delivers a brilliant new idea.

The soft colours reflect Diane’s compassion and caring. She has a global perspective and sees where kindness and right action fit into the bigger picture. She is not afraid to speak out for others when there is a need. Diane can also play. It is a part of what makes her so engaging. She has her head firmly screwed on and at the same time the spark of wonder and joy of children at play twinkles and pops out at the slightest invitation. Diane…a diamond through and through
